Evening Under the Stars

A Grand Valley summer tradition continues for its 30th consecutive year on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 6:30pm! Join the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra for our annual FREE concert in the park – Evening Under the Stars. Come to Las Colonias Amphitheater (925 Struthers Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501) with blankets, chairs, and the whole family for this enjoyable and uplifting show featuring patriotic, pops, and classical music.

The Grand Junction Centennial Band will kick off Evening Under the Stars at 6:30pm, and is comprised of over sixty Western Colorado-area men and women dedicated to making a unique musical and cultural contribution to our community presenting concerts in the Great American Band tradition! At 7:30pm, the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra will take the stage for a beautiful and exciting night of music for all ages.

No need to pack a picnic, the Grand Junction Symphony Guild will be selling and serving their famous Brats in the Park! One sealed or empty water bottle is permitted, other outside food or beverages may not be brought into the Las Colonias facility.

General admission tickets are available for free online at GJSO.org, over the phone at 970-243-6787, or in person by visiting the GJSO Offices Monday-Friday 9am-4pm at 414 Main Street, Grand Junction CO 81501. Tickets must be presented to enter this event, and are limited to a capacity of 3,000 people.
