2022-23 Season Auditions
The Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra will be holding auditions on Monday, August 22nd and Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022 for the following positions:
- 2nd Oboe
- 2nd Clarinet
- Section Violin
- Section Viola
- Sub List – All Instruments
Interested auditionees should prepare:
- 3-4 minute excerpt from a solo piece from the standard repertoire
- 2 – 3 contrasting orchestra excerpts (Excerpts will be provided by the Personnel Manager)
- Performance Resume PDF submitted via email
To schedule an audition, email GJSO Personnel Manager Amanda Chipchase (personnel@gjso.org) by Wednesday, August 17th. Please include a PDF of your performance resume in your email.
Auditions will be held at Colorado Mesa University’s Love Recital Hall in the Moss Performing Arts Center (1100 North Ave).
