To celebrate the Grand Junction Symphony Foundation’s 25th anniversary, we are presented with a $25,000 Challenge Grant from the Dave and Mary Wood Fund, managed by the Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF).

With this $25,000 Challenge Grant, the WCCF will match, dollar for dollar, donations to the GJSF made by December 31, 2018.

Music lovers – please make your check payable to the Grand Junction Symphony Foundation, Inc., with “challenge grant” in the memo line, mail it to the Symphony office, 414 Main St, Grand Junction, CO 81501. To donate by credit card, please call the Symphony office (970) 243-6787.

$1 million goal surpassed – on to a new goal

The Symphony Foundation’s $1,000,000 campaign goal was exceeded in 2018! Now the endowment fund generates an annual payout to the Orchestra of about $40,000. As the Foundation makes progress toward its new goal of $5,000,000, the payout will grow towards $200,000 annually – a vital supplement for the Orchestra’s budget.

Western Colorado Community Foundation is our new endowment partner

Over time, legacy gifts from thoughtful music lovers like you will be essential in achieving our mutual goal to support the GJ Symphony Orchestra. To assist in this endeavor, the Grand Junction Symphony Foundation (GJSF) is pleased to announce that the Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF) now serves as our endowment partner.

The WCCF provides specialized expertise and support to GJSF donors about charitable giving options and long-term investment services for endowment funds. If you would like information or to discuss a legacy gift, please contact Kristin Lynch at the Community Foundation, (970) 243-3767.
