WCC Audition Request Form
The Western Colorado Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Dirk Johnson, is excited to invite you to audition for our 40th season!
Openings Available
We currently have openings in all voice sections: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass.
Audition Details
Date: Thursday, October 1, 2026
Time: 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Location: Colorado Mesa University, Moss Performing Arts Center, Choir Room MPAC #139 (Enter through the south east entrance off 12th Street.)
How to Audition

Feel free to share this information with anyone new to the area who might be interested in singing with us!
Audition Preparation
Please prepare a short solo piece that you enjoy and bring either the sheet music for the accompanist or an accompanist track.
The audition will also include range testing, melodic recall, harmonic listening, and sight-singing.
Rehearsal Schedule
Chorale rehearsals are held every Monday from 6:50 pm to 9:00 pm, beginning Monday, August 11. We look forward to hearing from you!
