February 6, 2019
This June, the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra, in partnership with Grand Junction Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will raffle off a brand-new 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in a fundraiser starting on Saturday, February 1st and concluding on Friday, June 28th. The Mojito! green Rubicon is a 2-door, 3.6 liter V6, six speed manual transmission with 17 inch rims, and a black hard top. The Rubicon is built for serious off-roading. It has stronger axles, extra low gears in the transfer case, locking differentials, disconnecting anti sway bars, more aggressive tires.
“We have done several smaller raffles in the past and decided to take things off-road this year with a vehicle raffle.” said Kelly Anderson, Executive Director of the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra. “Colorado is Jeep country so it was a natural choice for us to pick a Rubicon.”
Tickets are $100 each or 3 for $250 or 5 for $400. Only 999 tickets will be sold and as an added bonus the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra will pay $5,000 on behalf of the winner towards their federal taxes. One winner will be drawn at Noon on Friday, June 28th at the Grand Junction Symphony office.
Raffle tickets are on sale now at the Grand Junction Symphony office (414 Main Street), during Grand Junction Symphony concerts at the Avalon Theatre (645 Main Street), in the Grand Junction Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram showroom (2578 Hwy 6 & 50), and online at gjso.org/jeepraffle.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon can be viewed in the Grand Junction Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram showroom and in front of the Avalon Theatre during Grand Junction Symphony concert weekends in February, March, April & May, respectively.
Proceeds go to support the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra’s operating budget which goes to fund their many educational initiatives, musician salaries, and concert offerings.
