Jianyi Gu

Chinese pianist Jianyi Gu began her musical journey at the age of eight, quickly establishing herself as a rising star in the classical music world. She holds degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory and the Eastman School of Music, where she is currently pursuing her doctoral studies with Professor Alan Chow. Jianyi has performed across the globe, from New York’s Carnegie Weill Recital Hall to the Joaquin Rodrigo Auditorium in Madrid, Spain. She has also earned numerous top prizes in international piano competitions, including the Zhuhai Piano Competition and the Los Angeles Liszt International Piano Competition. Her artistry reflects a deep commitment to excellence and a profound connection to the music she performs.

Tong Wang

Canadian pianist Tong Wang has earned international acclaim for her innovative performances and creative programming. A passionate advocate for musical storytelling, Tong has captivated audiences worldwide with solo recitals and collaborative projects. Highlights of her career include performances at the Verbier Festival, Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance, and collaborations with ensembles such as the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra. Her programs often blend classical masterpieces with contemporary works, such as Alice Ping Yee Ho’s Four Impressions of China, showcasing her dedication to cultural diversity in music. Tong is also co-founder of the Windwood Music Festival, where she creates community-centered classical music experiences in Alberta.

Xiaoliang Qian

Pianist Xiaoliang Qian is celebrated for his dynamic performances and technical mastery. Currently pursuing his doctorate at the Eastman School of Music under Marina Lomazov, Xiaoliang has already achieved notable success, including winning the Lewisville Lake Symphony International Competition Grand Prize in 2024. He has performed as a soloist and collaborator in prestigious venues such as the Lewisville Grand Theater and Eastman’s Kilbourn Hall. Xiaoliang’s festival appearances include the Music Fest Perugia and the Vivace International Music Festival, where he continues to refine his artistry and engage audiences worldwide.
